Harmony School

Top-Rated South Bay Puppy School

Welcoming a puppy into your life should be a joyous event, but it can quickly become overwhelming if you don't have the tools you need to provide your puppy with the experiences and training it needs to succeed.

You Don't Have to Wait to Train Your Puppy!

Our Harmony School program was developed to take full advantage of the first four months of a puppy's life when they are best able to quickly learn and retain information. Our veterinarian recommended program and facility is able to safely accommodate puppies as young as 8 weeks old.

Harmony School is an intensive training program ideal for puppies under 4 months of age.  Our goal is to create the best possible family dog by giving puppies the foundations that they need to meet their full potential. Our veterinarian recommended puppy program takes full advantage of the critical socialization period in your puppy's life to help them learn to interact with the world around them. Most behavioral problems that arise in adult dogs are due incomplete or improper socialization. At Harmony School we positively associate puppies to dogs, people, objects, sounds, textures and handling, helping puppies gain confidence and reducing reactivity as they mature. Our foundations extend beyond socialization and our day school program focuses on structured obedience, clear and appropriate communication, potty and independence training, and one-on-one training with our team of Professional Trainers who will teach you and your puppy to love the game of training!

Harmony School tuition includes 3 weeks of our Day School program, an introductory Private Lesson with a Professional Trainer, and a month of Harmony Academy evening group lessons so that you can learn alongside your puppy! Dogs over the age of 4 months must be evaluated and approved to attend Harmony School.  School Hours are Monday - Friday,  9 am - 2 pm.  Our daily schedule will depend on the needs of the dogs in our care, but will always include the following:

·         Interactive Play

·         Chewing

·         Enrichment

·         Training

·         Solo play time

·         Crate time

·         Potty training

·         Socialization

Because this is a school and consistency is most important for any training. We require that dogs spend 3 consecutive weeks in the Day School program for their first semester. After that, and as long as they continue coming to dog only group classes at the center, dogs may be scheduled at will.
