It's no secret... we have a passion for puppies. There is something so special about puppies joining our lives. These little blank slates are so full of potential, and we've made it our mission to help families raise their perfect puppy.

It isn't always easy. If this is your first time raising a puppy, there is a lot to learn! But don't worry, we all started somewhere and we're here to help. The goal of this course is to prepare you for the first few weeks with your puppy and make sure that you have the information you need to make great choices, reduce your stress, and give your puppy the best start possible.

Setting Up for Success: Confinement, Potty, and Independence Training
In this first section, we discuss the concept of management and how it is used to keep your puppy safe, happy, and well-positioned for future training success.

Crate Training
Training your puppy to accept and enjoy being crated is a vital life skill. From travel and vet visits to unsupervised naps in the home, your puppy will benefit from having a great relationship with their crate.

Potty Training
Building on the concepts of management and crate training, we will discuss the steps and timelines associated with potty training your young puppy.

Independence & Separation Training
As much as we'd love to stay home with our puppies all of the time, there will be occasions where your puppy will need to stay home alone. In this section, we discuss independence training and how early experience with separation can prevent anxiety in the future.

Enrichment & Socialization
In this final section, we'll explore the concepts of enrichment and socialization and the important role they play in your puppy's daily and long-term wellbeing. ​
